Program Overview
The B.Sc. in Information Technology is a three-year undergraduate program divided into six semesters. This program covers essential IT concepts and practices, including software development, database management, networking, and cybersecurity. It aims to prepare students for careers in various IT domains or for further studies in the field.
Objectives
- To provide comprehensive knowledge of information technology and its applications in various industries.
- To offer practical experience through lab work, projects, and internships.
- To develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills for IT-related challenges.
- To enhance students’ abilities in software development, database management, and network administration.
- To improve communication, teamwork, and leadership skills necessary for IT professionals.
- To connect students with industry professionals through seminars, workshops, and guest lectures, fostering real-world insights and networking opportunities.
Eligibility
- Higher secondary school certificate (10+2) Science or its equivalent examination with English. OR
- Three-year diploma course from the board of technical education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent. OR
- Higher secondary school certificate (10+2) Examination with English and a vocational subject of +2 level (MCVC)
