Program Overview
The B.Sc. in Animation is a three-year undergraduate program divided into six semesters. This program combines artistic creativity with technological proficiency, covering various aspects of animation, including 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, and game design. It aims to develop students’ skills in storytelling, character design, and digital artistry.
Objectives
- To equip students with the technical skills required for creating high-quality animations and visual effects.
- To nurture creativity and artistic talent through courses in drawing, storyboarding, and character design.
- To provide practical experience with industry-standard animation software and tools.
- To enhance students’ understanding of animation production processes, from concept development to final output.
- To develop strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for working in creative teams.
- To connect students with industry professionals through workshops, guest lectures, and internships.
Eligibility
- A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Degree course in Bachelor of Business Administration (IB) shall have passed 12th Std. Examination (H.S.C. 10 +2) from any stream with English as passing subject and has secured 40% marks at 12th Std.
- Three Years Diploma Course after S.S.C. i.e. 10th Std of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
- Two Years Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C., of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
- MCVC / Every eligible candidate has to pass a Common Entrance Test to be conducted by the respective Institute / College.
